In Greene County district court Annette Renee Bohl, 61, of Adel was sentenced Feb. 11 to four days in jail, with credit for time served, after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license revoked. She was fined $1,000 with a $150 surcharge. She must pay restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees not to exceed $400. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Jessica Lea Duong, 28, of Jefferson was sentenced to two days in jail after she pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from assault on person in certain occupation causing bodily injury. The jail term was suspended and she was placed on informal probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. Duong was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. She must pay restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees not to exceed $400. A charge of assault on persons in certain occupation was dismissed. Court costs were $100. Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Joe Edward Blackmon, 44, of Scranton, driving while license barred; Ryan Douglas Patterson, 40, of Jefferson, harassment- first degree and tampering with a juror or witness, and in a separate case, domestic abuse assault- second offense; and Kim M. Mentolaroc, 29, of Jefferson, operating while intoxicated and possession of dangerous weapon while under influence. Trial dates were set for April 6 in every case.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Tyler Edward Proft, 19, of Boone, operating vehicle without owner’s consent, and in a separate case, eluding causing injury while under influence or participating in a felony; and Trevor Michael Baugh, 25, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana.
